  1. To begin, I would just like to say that I in no way condone the taking of a life. I just want to stress, as a former public housing tenant, that growing up in a poverty stricken area can deprive some people of their basic civil rights. This city seems to think that just bcuz you're poor you have to be treated like a savage. And, when you're treated like a savage you will act like a savage, as in the case of many people I've grown up with. Mayor Daley allowed the police to come where we lived and treat us like we weren't human. I've never broken the law, but I was treated like a criminal bcuz my parents didn't earn 6 figures. I just want to say that the egregious act that took officer Bailey's life is a direct result of hatred for the police and desperation for a better life. Yes, some people in the ghetto are just evil, but for the most part everyone that lives in poverty wants the opportunity to have the best as well. I just know that most of everything that public precedes sucks when it's in the ghetto. THIS IS THE COMMENT I MADE ABOUT THIS SAD STORY. THE KILLING NEEDS TO STOP! CLICK ON THE LINK AND READ THIS STORY AND LET ME KNOW WHAT U THINK.
